Jamaica local-based senior footballers are scheduled to depart the island in two batches this afternoon for their August 10 friendly international against China in that country.
The local-based delegation is expected to arrive in China on Sunday and will be joined by eight overseas-based players.
Among the overseas-based players is striker Luton Shelton of Valerenga FC in Norway.
Three other players based in Norway are also part of the squad. They are Jason Morrison, Damian Williams and Rudolph Austin.
The other overseas-based players are Omar Cummings, Ryan Johnson and Shavar Thomas – who all ply their trade in the United States; and goalkeeper Dwayne Miller of Syrianska FC in Sweden.
The squad will stage a training session on Monday.
