Young Boyz beat Cayman Islands

Jamaica’s Under-23 footballers defeated Cayman Islands 1-nil yesterday to secure their second straight victory in the Caribbean Football Union Olympic Qualifiers in Suriname.



The game was played at the Andre Kamperveen Stadium. Alanzo Adlam scored the lone goal in the 14th minute.



In the second game, hosts Suriname defeated St Vincent and the Grenadines 3-1 to lead the group by goal difference over Jamaica.



Jamaica and Suriname will face off in the final game tomorrow.

Only the winner of the group will advance to the Caribbean Football Union second round of qualifiers.
