Jamaica competes tomorrow

Jamaican Samantha Albert will be the first to get into action tomorrow.



She will be competing in equestrian.



The British-based Albert will compete in day one of the three-day eventing competition.



The opening discipline is the dressage, followed by cross-country the following day and show jumping on the final day.



Albert performed fairly well at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro last year and has been training hard for the event.



It takes place takes place 1,225 miles away from Beijing at the Shatin Racing Complex in Hong Kong.



Swimmers Alia Atkinson and Jevon Atkinson will be in action in next Wednesday in the 200-metre breaststroke and the 50-metre freestyle.



The third swimmer, Natasha Moodie, will see action in the 50-metre freestyle next Friday.
