Cricket: Jamaica go in search of a semi-final spot

Jamaica have restricted Guyana to 81 for eight after 45 overs in their final preliminary round Group ‘A’ match of the WICB Women’s 50-over competition in Barbados.
Shanel Daley has so far picked up three wickets for 15.
In the other Group ‘A’ match, champions Trinidad and Tobago reached 143 for five after 39 overs against Grenada at LIME.
Over in Group ‘B’ , St Vincent and the Grenadines hammered Dominica by eight wickets in a low scoring game.
Dominica were bowled out for 34 off 27.1 overs and St Vincent and the Grenadines responded with 35 for two after 5.5 overs.
Over at Kensington Oval, Barbados reached 235 for four after 30.4 overs in their match against St Lucia.
The top two teams in each zone will advance to the semi-finals, which are scheduled for tomorrow.
The competition concludes on Sunday with the Grand Final at Kensington Oval.
