Details released about the rioters in London reveal that most of them are from wealthy backgrounds and not unemployed youth as was thought.

CNN reported that individuals taken to court between last night and today include a teaching assistant, a lifeguard, a postman, a chef, a charity worker, a millionaire's daughter and an 11-year-old boy.

They are accused of stealing items ranging from a cell phone to electrical appliances.

One man is reported to have told the court that he had needed diapers for his baby.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police in London say 401 people have been charged so far.
