Calm returns to the streets of London

The BBC is reporting that British rioters are facing the courts in growing numbers, as the police seek to bring those responsible for the rampaging through London and other cities.



Calm has now returned to the streets of London. More than 1,900 people have been arrested and about 850 charged.



The violence first broke out Tottenham, North London after a protest over the police killing of Mark Duggan.
