JFF to launch grassroots football

FIFA instructors Alvin Corneal and Leonard Lake are scheduled to arrive in the island today to conduct a FIFA Grassroots Seminar.
The seminar includes practical sessions at Sabina Park. It will culminate in a grassroots festival with over 100 children on Thursday.
The Jamaica Football Federation, JFF, will use the seminar to initiate a national grassroots football programme.
The JFF says the main aim of the programme is to give all girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 12, opportunities to learn to play football.
