BPS dismisses Vincentian

Police Commissioner George Jackson has dismissed fellow Vincentian Allan Palmer from the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) over an allegedly malicious blog the officer kept.



The announcement contradicts Palmer\'s claims he resigned his former post in early June.



Palmer faced disciplinary action from the BPS earlier this year and was suspended from duty as a result of postings he made on his Internet blog, Crushing Fools.



The police said Palmer has continually misrepresented information and expressed personal views that are inappropriate for a member of the BPS.
