Cricket: Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen smash century

Ian Bell and Kevin Pietersen recorded centuries to guide hosts England to 387 for two at Sports Time on today’s second day of the fourth and final Test against India at The Oval.



Bell is 147 not out and Pietersen 148 not out.



Earlier, England who resumed on 75 without loss, saw Alastair Cook dismissed for his overnight score of 34 with the score unchanged.



Captain Andrew Strauss went for 40 after adding only two runs to his overnight score.



Ishant Sharma and Sreesanth picked up the wickets to fall.



England, who lead the series 3-nil, are looking to complete their first series whitewash of India since 1974.
