Gaddafi: I am ready to fight

Libya's fugitive ex-leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi has said in an audio message broadcast by a loyalist television channel that he is ready to fight a long guerrilla war against rebel forces.



It was the second message in 24 hours purporting to be from Gaddafi, whose whereabouts remain unknown.



Anti-Gaddafi forces encircling the city of Sirte have given his loyalists an extra week to negotiate their surrender.



Meanwhile, Western leaders have urged the interim authorities to engage in reconciliation with their enemies.
