Miss Atlantic Star wins feature

MISS ATLANTIC STAR, with jockey Paul Francis, won today’s feature race at Caymanas – the Monica Todd Memorial Cup over 2,000 metres for 180 thousand-dollar claimers.



Offering odds of 7-to-1, the eight-year-old bay mare scored a one-and-a-quarter length-victory over 3-to-1 choice RULE BY SECRECY with title chasing jockey Dick Cardenas.



Another three-and-and-half-lengths behind was 11-to-1 shot MR. THEOPHILUS in third, while the 2-to-1 favourite GHOST RAPPER with champion jockey Omark Walker finished fourth.
