Football: Women’s Premier League continues today

Defending champions Barbican and Olympic Gardens will face off at Barbican Complex as the Sherwin Williams-sponsored Women’s Premier League continues this afternoon.



Barbican and Portmore Strikers are locked atop of the table on 40 points each, while Olympic Gardens are struggling on 14 points in ninth position.



Portmore Strikers play away to the sixth place National Under-17 Women’s team at Excelsior High School, while third place Los Perfectos tackle second-from-the-bottom UWI Women at the UWI Bowl.



The remaining matches are:- eighth place Trelawny Women against last place St Thomas Strikers at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny and seventh place Harbour View hosting fifth place Waterhouse at Harbour View Stadium.



All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm.
