Commanding Chief for Rum Fire Invitational

The unbeaten filly COMMANDING CHIEF is the one to beat in today’s feature event at Caymanas Park in the Rum Fire Invitational Trophy over 1500 metres.
Five rivals including RONRON, the top rated horse in the country, will challenge the Everal Francis-trained three-year-old.
RONRON is back with her old trainer Gary Subratie following a brief but unsuccessful stint with champion trainer Wayne Dacosta. Subratie holds a strong hand as he also saddles DANCE SO SWEET.
Also included in the field is the reigning ‘Horse of the Year’ MARK MY WORD with champion jockey Omar Walker.
The 11-race programme features three overseas riders from Mountaineer Park in the United Sates. They are Jamaica’s own Andrew Ramgeet, Luis Rivera Jr and female jockey Sophie Richgels.
