Junior Bennett returns as coach of national senior team

Junior Bennett has been appointed coach of Jamaica’s national cricket team for the upcoming Regional Super 50 Cricket tournament, which bowls off next month in Guyana.



Bennett will be having his second stint as coach of the senior team.



Trinidadian Gus Logie replaced him as head coach last year. During that period, Bennett was appointed as assistant to Logie.



Bennett has guided Jamaica to regional four-day honours three of the four years that he had been in charge.



He won the regional one-day title once during his term, but has failed to win a Twenty20 title despite three attempts.
