Burrell leads race for CFU presidency

President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Captain Horace Burrell, is among four persons who have been officially nominated for the top football post in the Caribbean Football Union.
The other nominees are Tony James, also of Jamaica; Antigua’s Gordon Derrick and Trinidadian Harold Taylor.
The post became vacant after its president Austin ‘Jack' Warner resigned in June from all football activity pending an investigation into bribery allegations.
The new president will be appointed on November 20 at the extraordinary congress in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
