West Indies departs for Dubai
The West Indies will depart London today for Dubai to prepare for their tour of Bangladesh.
The Caribbean side will have a one-week camp in Dubai before heading to Bangladesh.
West Indies will play Bangladesh in two 20/20 Internationals, three One Day Internationals and two Tests.
The West Indies cricketers are leaving London in high spirits after beating England by 25 runs in the final match of their 20/20 international series at The Oval yesterday.
Garey Mathurin picked up three wickets for nine runs from four overs in an impressive debut to set up West Indies victory.
It was the best figures for a 20/20 International debut as England were dismissed for their lowest 20/20 International total of 88 in 16.4 overs.
They were replying to West Indies’ 113 for five from their allocation of 20 overs.
Jamaican Marlon Samuels topscored for England with 35 not out, while Johnson Charles scored 21.
The result means that the two-match series ended tied at 1-1, after England won the first match by 10 wickets last Friday at the same venue.
