Calabar, St George’s qualify for semis

Calabar High and St George’s College remain on course to qualify for the semi-finals of the ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel urban-area Manning Cup following victories today.
Calabar High defeated Penwood 4-0 in the first game of a Group H double-header at Constant Spring field to move to maximum six points.
St George’s College also moved to six points with a 2-0 victory over Canperdown High.
Calabar High and St George’s College face off in their final second round game on Friday to decide who advance to the semi-finals.
The four group winners will contest the semi-finals.
Only Charlie Smith have already booked a semi-final spot. They did so at the weekend after beating Spanish Town 3-1 to move to an unassailable six points.
