Steve Mullings could know fate today

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission’s (JADCO), three-man disciplinary panel is expected to make its ruling on the dope case involving Jamaican overseas-based sprinter Steve Mullings this afternoon.
The JADCO disciplinary hearing is taking place at the Jamaica Conference Centre.
The three-man disciplinary panel will first make its summation, beginning at 2.30.
The disciplinary panel comprises chairman Lennox Gayle, Dr Japheth Ford and Peter Prendergast.
The hearing was adjourned yesterday following submissions from Mullings’ lead attorney, Alando Terrelonge and JADCO lawyer Lackston Robinson.
Mullings tested positive for the banned substance Furosemide a few weeks before the August 27 to September 4 World Championships begin in Daegu, South Korea.
The 28-year-old had previously tested positive for testosterone in 2004 and served a two-year ban. He now faces a life ban.
Mullings is absent from the hearing.
