Australia dismiss South Africa for 266

Hosts South Africa were bowled out for 266 on the first day of the second Test against Australia at the Wanderers today.



Sitting comfortably at 241 for four South Africa lost six wickets for 25 runs in the afternoon session to give first day honours to the visitors.



AB de Villiers top scored for South Africa with 64. He also shared in a fifth-wicket partnership of 122 with Ashwell Prince, who hit 50.



Earlier in the day, Jacques Kallis became only the fourth batsman to score 12,000 Test runs before his dismissal in the fourth over after lunch. He scored 54.



Peter Siddle was the most successful bowler for Australia with 3 for 69. Nathan Lyon and Michael Clarke supported with two wickets apiece.



South Africa lead the two-match series 1-0.
