The 2011 Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club/Petcom International Stages Rally this weekend is shaping up to be quite interesting as the organisers have made changes to some of the stages.

The two-day rally begins on Saturday morning at 8:01 at the Petcom Angel’s Estate in Spanish Town.

The final day of the rally starts in Bog Walk at 7:31 in the morning.

For this year, the organisers have decided to return to the Bernard Lodge course off the Spanish Town bypass in St Catherine, which was last used in the 1990.

In addition the organisers have decided to run stages in Bog Walk, St Catherine.

The grand finale will again be at last year’s highly successful downtown Kingston water front location.

Jamaica’s top driver Kyle Gregg thinks the drivers will face a lot of challenges along the course because of the changes.

Gregg, who has already sealed the 2011 Rally Sports Championship, says his focus is to finish the two-day rally.

Kyle Gregg, who competes in the Front Wheel Drive Class, will be driving a Honda Civic. This year’s event has attracted seven overseas competitors from Ireland, Scotland, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago.
