The parliamentary opposition in Dominica has called for the government to lower local fuel prices further, to reflect trends on the international market.

The Labour Party administration has announced a EC$0.49 reduction in the petrol price.

The leader of the United Workers Party, Ron Green, is pushing for a deeper cut.
