Bolt was voted the best individual performer at the Beijing Olympics by the Denver Post newspapers in the USA.

Bolt, who won three world record gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, got the nod over swimming super star Michael Phelps of the USA.

Phelps won a record eight gold medals but the Denver Post said world records in swimming are not impressive.

The newspaper further said Bolt’s performance grabs the attention of all.

Bolt has been described as the greatest Olympic sprinter of all-time and even labelled, Superman Two by the great American Michael Johnson.
