Out of favour West Indies fast bowler Ravi Rampaul was one of 20 participants successfully completing the West Indies Cricket Board Level One coaching course staged in Port of Spain, Trinidad last week.

The 23 year old Rampaul, who has played 20 One-Day Internationals, was one of four senior T&T cricketers, who passed the exam.

The others were all-rounders Rayad Emrit and Samuel Badree and wicketkeeper/batsman Gibran Mohammed.

Rampaul, who has been sidelined by injury several times throughout his short career, last played for the Windies during the tour of South Africa earlier this year.

Participants were taken through several modules on coaching, fitness in cricket, batting, bowling and fielding drill, bio-mechanics and skills acquisition.
