Cuba has conditionally agreed to resume formal political talks with the European Union following its decision to lift sanctions against the island in June.
EU official, Javier Nino, said it is still not clear what the basis of the discussions would be.
However, he said Cuban authorities are not happy with the EU\'s decision to conduct annual reviews of the situation in Cuba.
The European Union imposed diplomatic sanctions in 2003, in protest at Cuba\'s human rights record.
