Cop accused of rape in Grenada suspended

Two police men have been suspended from the Royal Grenada Police Force following allegations of rape and forgery.
Nickeonel Williams, 25, has been charged with rape, while Adrian Calliste,40, faces charges of forgery after he allegedly issued a bad cheque to a supermarket.
Police Communication Consultant, Troy Garvey said the men will remain on suspension until the matter is heard by the court and a ruling is given after the evidence is presented
In another matter, detectives have reportedly seized over 1,000 marijuana plants, within the last 24 hours, in two operations conducted by members of the Drug Squad.
No one has been charged in connection with that incident.
