TTFF appoints new coach

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) has appointed Russell Latapy for a Player/Coach role with the World Cup squad.
Latapy, a 40 year old ex-national star midfielder, will serve as Colombian Francisco Maturana’s assistant for the upcoming two World Cup Qualifying matches against Guatemala and the United States in October.
He is scheduled to join the squad in the build up to the matches in Guatemala City on October 11 and Hasely Crawford Stadium on October 15.
T&T are currently third in the group and need good results in their remaining three games to advance to the CONCACAF Final round.
