Haiti’s President Rene Preval has announced three days of national mourning for victims of four storms that have hit the country in recent weeks.

Mr. Preval ordered that flags at government buildings be flown at half-staff beginning today.

He has also instructed national radio stations to play sombre music.

Approximately 326 people were killed in Haiti following the back-to-back storms.
