T&T gas increase

Motorists in energy-exporting Trinidad and Tobago are now paying more for gasoline.
Yesterday, Finance Minister Karen Nunez-Tesheira announced a reduction of the billion dollar subsidy on premium gasoline in the budget.
The price of gasoline has reportedly increased to TT$4 or US$0.64 per litre, one more than the previous price.
Ms Nunez-Tesheira also announced increases in support for old age pensioners and retired public servants.
