At least nine people have been killed and two others wounded in a shooting spree at a college in the town of Kauhajoki in western Finland this morning.

Police said the gunman, said to be a student in his early 20s, shot and injured himself after the attack.

They say he was questioned yesterday, after he posted a video of himself on the internet last week firing a gun.

However, the police said there was no reason to revoke his gun license.

An estimated 200 students were reportedly in the college buildings at the time of the shooting.
