Cayman judge arrested

A judge in the Cayman Islands has been arrested by London\'s Metropolitan Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office.



Governor Stuart Jack said Justice Alexander Henderson was arrested yesterday in connection with a corruption investigation.



Officials said he has still not been charged with any crime.



Mr. Stuart said the arrest had nothing to do with rulings issued in the Cayman Islands by Judge Henderson, a Canadian citizen.



The arrest comes about a week after another Cayman judge was suspended, while a tribunal probes allegations of misconduct against her.
