West Indies opening batsman Xavier Marshall, who tested positive in the drug tests conducted during the Stanford Super Star two-week camp in Antigua in August, has been selected in Jamaica’s squad for the upcoming Regional One-Day and Four-Day Series.

Following the positive drug test Marshall was withdrawn from the Stanford squad on September 12 for undisclosed reasons.

The Stanford Super Stars squad is scheduled to face England in the Stanford 20/20, a winner-take-all US$20 million match on November 1.

The 29-member Jamaican training squad also includes Australian-born Brendan Nash, who made his debut for the West Indies in August during the international One-Day tri-series with hosts Canada and Bermuda.

West Indies players Chris Gayle, Jerome Taylor and Darren Powell will join the squad on October 18, along with Damion Henry, Gary Graham, Dwight Stewart and Ransford Merchant.

The four-day preparation Trials will run from September 30 to October 17, while the One Day Trials will begin on October 18 and continues until October 26.
