Waterhouse moves to second place

Waterhouse carved out a 1-nil victory over Arnett Gardens at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex as the Digicel National Premier League continued yesterday.



The defeat leaves Arnett Gardens without a point after three rounds of matches in the new season.



And Waterhouse move to seven points and joint second place in the standings with Harbour View, who edged newcomers Meadhaven United 2-1 at Constant Spring.



Waterhouse gained its victory through a 23rd minute penalty by Irvino English.



Over at the Spanish Town Prison Oval, Rivoli United gained its first points following a 1-nil victory over Sporting Central Academy.



St George’s Sports Club and Tivoli battled to a goalless draw at Lynch Park in Portland.



Meanwhile, the Reno versus Boys’ Town game at St Elizabeth Technical High School was rained out.
