Activists from across Africa have joined hundreds of farmers and trade unionists in Ghana in a protest against the proposed Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union.
The protesters marched through the streets of the capital Accra, where a summit of leaders from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries was due to discuss the proposals.
The EPA is designed to liberalise trade between the European Union and developing countries.
However, critics have been voicing their concerns and have described the terms as unfair.
