US economic turmoil affects countries

The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is warning that the economic crisis now affecting the US will have a ripple effect on other countries.
Dr. Gonsalves said the current global economic turmoil could lead to a slowdown in tourism, investment and remittances.
He said although there has been a minimal impact on the Caribbean so far, the situation could get worse.
