Port Antonio beat Buff Bay
Port Antonio High outclassed Buff Bay 5-0 at Port Antonio to stay atop Zone ‘La’ of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel rural area daCosta Cup following yesterday’s round of matches.
With the victory, Port Antonio now moved to 11 points from five games.
Over in Zone ‘B’ Green Island edged Anchovy 1-0, while Merlene Ottey and Knockalva battled to a 2-2 draw.
In Zone ‘D’ Brown’s Town edged Ocho Rico 1-0, Marcus Garvey defeated York Castle 4-1 and Aabuthnott Gallimore High and Cedric Titus played to a 1-1 draw.
In Zone E, Lacovia scored a 1-0 victory over Balaclava.
The competition continues this afternoon in 18 games including two interesting Zone ‘I’ games.
The games are Garvey Maceo hosting Tacius Golding and Glenmuir away to Kemps.
All matches will kick off at 3.30 p.m.
In the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel corporate area Manning Cup, Wolmer’s Boy and Jamaica College battled to an exciting 1-1 draw in Zone C.
In the other Zone C games, Jonathan Grant beat Denham Town 2-0 and Vauxhall and Mona played to a 1-1 draw.
In Group D, Bridgeport beat Jose Marti 3-nil and Cumberland defeated Innswood 4-0.
Over in Group F, Kingston High edged Edith Dalton James 3-0.
