Bulls whip Flames

Port Royal Bulls whipped Portmore Flames 66 to 51 last night to move into second place in the KFC National Basketball League.



Port Royal Bulls now have 37 points, five behind leaders Urban Knights on 42.



Damion Young led the way for Port Royal Bulls with 22 points, nine rebounds and five blocks. Leighton Meeks supported with 15 points and five rebounds.



Portmore Flames’ Kenado Smith had a game high 27 points.



In the other game, Majesty Gardens scored an 82-76 victory over Jamaica Defence Force. Majesty Garden now moved to fifth place with 33 points.



Boys Club Warriors defeated Junior Avalanche 71 to 52 in the Western Basketball Association/Fruta/Oasis Purified Water Men’s D-League at the Montego Bay Boys’ and Girls’ Club.
