Caribbean criminal gang members detained

At least 1,500 criminal gang members from the Caribbean have reportedly been detained by immigration officials in the United States.
US officials said the people arrested are citizens of 33 countries.
More than 1,000 are said to be from Mexico, 12 from the Dominican Republic, five each from Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba and 2 from Trinidad and Tobago.
Many of them were reportedly arrested on immigration violations and will be deported.
