DaCosta Cup heats-up

Action in the rural area Pepsi/Digicel DaCosta Cup schoolboy football competition continues this afternoon in ten (10) of the twelve (12) competing zones.



Among the games that should generate special interest are the big Zone B clash between second place Frome and third place Green and Zone E top-of-the-table clash between Lacovia and St Elizabeth Technical High School.



In yesterday\'s action, Cornwall College pumped some additional energy into their inter-zone aspirations when they scored an important 3-1 over Green Pond High.



In other games, Herbert Morrison beat Spot Valley 1-0, Maldon edged Irwin 2-1, Titchfield crushed Buff Bay 8-0, Fair Prospect Port stopped Antonio 1-0, St Thomas outscored Robert Lightbourne 6-2, Paul Bogle defeated Morant Bay 2-0, while Seaforth edged Yallahs 3-2.
