Harbour View midfielder recalled

Harbour View midfielder Jermaine Hue has been recalled to the national senior football squad for the country’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Honduras on Wednesday at the National Stadium.



Hue’s last represented Jamaica on September 10 when he came on as a substitute against Honduras in San Pedro Sula. The Reggae Boyz lost the game 2-0.



The Reggae Boyz will stage a training session this evening at 7 p.m. at the National Stadium.



Jamaica, on four points, need a victory to keep its slim home alive of advancing to the final round.



Honduras and Mexico are tied atop the standings on nine each. Canada are last with one point.



The teams have two matches remaining and only two will advance to the six-nation CONCACAF Finals, from which three will automatically qualify for the 2010 Finals in South Africa.



The Honduran delegation is scheduled to arrive in the country shortly, a day earlier than was expected.
