Knights/Majestic Gardens win

Defending champions Urban Knights and Majesty Gardens last night won the first match in their best-of-three quarterfinal playoff of the KFC National Basketball League at the National Stadium Court.
Urban Knights had an easy 83 to 63 victory over Runnin’ Rebels; while Majesty Gardens scored a 91 to 81 win over Arnett Gardens.
Andy Smith led the way for Urban Knights with a game high 19 points and six rebounds. Oneil Mundle 16 points and 13 rebounds and Fernando Young 13 points and seven rebounds supported him.
Kemar McLeish scored a game high 27 points to lead Majesty Gardens’ victory charge. Baldon Todd had 26 points and Barrington Berry 13.
Games Two will take place on Sunday.
