Jamaica suffered their third straight defeat at the 9th Pan American Hockey Federation Junior Men’s Championship yesterday in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
The Jamaicans were beaten 6-0 by host country Trinidad and Tobago to remain at the bottom of Pool ‘A’ without a point.
T&T moved to second place with six points, three behind leaders Argentina, which hammered the United States 9-0.
The final round of matches in the preliminary round will take place on Thursday and the top two teams in each group will meet in crossover semifinals.
The winners and third place teams will qualify for the Junior World Cup to be jointly hosted by Malaysia and Singapore next year.
