KC/Calabar book Walker Cup spot

Kingston College and Calabar have qualified for the Corporate Area Walker Cup Knockout football competition following victories yesterday.
KC secured a 1-0 win over Penwood High in a rescheduled Group ‘F’ ISSA/Digicel/Pepsi Manning Cup match at Cloverley Park, while Calabar beat Donald Quarrie High 3-0 in their Group ‘B’ games.
With the victory, KC have joined St Andrew Technical High School on 25 points, but advanced by virtue of a better goal difference.
Calabar have moved to 24 points, three ahead of Waterford High.
In the day’s other game yesterday, St Andrew High defeated St Catherine High 4-0
