Guyanese man kills wife

The police in New York are reporting that a Guyanese man has killed his wife.

They say 58-year-old Ian Robinson attacked his 51-year-old wife yesterday and killed her in front of their four-year-old grandson.



He reportedly stabbed his wife in the neck, partially severing her head.



The Guyanese has since been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.



The police say he had no prior arrests and that there had been no previous reports of domestic abuse at the couple’s home.
