A senior lecturer at the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies is expressing concern about the running mate of Republican US presidential candidate John McCain, Sarah Palin.
Professor Mark Kirton, who reportedly favours Barack Obama said a McCain/Palin presence in the White House could mean bad news for the Caribbean.
Professor Kirton is insisting that the kinds of policies being advocated by Palin don’t augur well for Caribbean/US relations.
The United States Elections takes place next Tuesday.
