Jamaica’s preparations for the Caribbean Football Union stage of the Under 20 World Cup qualifiers has hit a big setback because of injuries to a number of key players.

Team coach Donovan Duckie said six players are nursing injuries.

The players are midfielders John-Ross Doyle, Marvin Boothe, Davion Thorpe, strikers Alanzo Adlam and Andre Clennon and defender Levaughn Williams.

The Junior Reggae Boyz are set to depart for the qualifiers in Aruba on November 18.

They will play Antigua and Barbuda on November 20 and Aruba two days later.

Only the winner will advance to the other stage.
