Reggae Boyz face Cayman Islands

New Jamaica head coach John Barnes will be in charge of the Reggae Boyz for the first time tonight when he leads the team in an away practice match against a Cayman Islands All-Star team.



The game will take place at the Truman Bodden Stadium in Cayman Islands beginning at 7 p.m..



The Reggae Boyz are in Cayman Islands for a weeklong camp.



The camp will feature two friendly matches, the second will take place on Sunday evening against the Cayman Islands national team at 7 p.m.



Barnes is using the weeklong camp as part of Jamaica’s preparation for the Digicel Caribbean Championships.



After just two training sessions, the former Watford and Liverpool and England star said the players have been very receptive.
