Commission summons ministers
The Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Michael Misick is to appear before a Commission set up to investigate corruption allegations.
Mr. Misick is to tender his evidence under oath.
According to the commission, the government has not been cooperative with investigators probing the corruption cases.
The Commission said its officers are unable to access many public documents.
It says the disclosure of interests by ministers and legislators has been inadequate.
Mr. Misick and his Cabinet have denied any wrongdoing, saying the allegations were politically inspired.
The Commission of Enquiry was set up on the recommendation of a United Kingdom parliamentary committee in July.
It follows claims from islanders that ministers had enriched themselves by selling Crown land to property developers for their personal gain.
