The Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association’s, JAAA, development programme has been given a financial boost of 5 point 5 million dollars.
The financial support was provided by Jamaica’s first broadband network company, Flow, at a press conference earlier today at the company’s commercial office at 6 St Lucia Avenue, New Kingston.
The contribution is part of Flow’s initiative to partner with the JAAA to boost the development of athletes.
Flow will also provide internet and commercial video connections to the JAAA new facilities on Tremainne Road.
The company announced it would provide complimentary lifetime cable and Internet service to all medalists at the recent Beijing Olympic Games.
