Sunshine Girls record second victory

Jamaica recorded their second victory of the NCB Sunshine Savers Tri-Nation Netball Series last night with an easy 53-38 victory over South Africa at the National Indoor Sports Centre.



On their way to victory, the Jamaicans won the first quarter 14-7, the second quarter 28-13 and the third quarter 40-27.



Goalshooter Romelda Aiken led the way for Jamaica with 38 goals from 43 attempts, while captain Simone Forbes had 15 from 17.



South Africa will now face Trinidad and Tobago in the third game of the series this evening at 7 p.m., with the winners facing Jamaica in the final tomorrow.
