Trinidad jolted by 4.1 magnitude quake

An earthquake measuring 4.1 today rattled Trinidad but there were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
The Seismic Unit of the University of the West Indies said that the quake hit at 10:56 this morning north of the Paria Peninsula, at a depth of 54 kilometres.
Officials have warned Caribbean countries to be prepared for a major quake.
On July 8, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 was felt in Antigua and Barbuda.
